September Romance at Dunton Hot Springs
K&W’s wedding weekend at Dunton Hot Springs in late September was a dreamy cinematic experience to say the least. It was also a western adventure and a small mini musical festival in a way. Guests settled into a “Welcome to the West” farm to table dinner at Dunton River Camp for the first night with bluegrass, family style seasonal BBQ and a dance party around a bonfire. The second night was a smoky jazz-inspired evening of more contemporary ambiance - inspired by the art scene of NYC mixed with the historic wild west of Dunton and illuminated the amazing art collection hanging in the Saloon.
The wedding day was the most beautiful late September day in the mountains. Everyone started the day with yoga and meditation followed by soaking in the natural hot springs… coasting into the most beautiful outdoor ceremony in Mother Nature. The party was held in a collection of Norwegian style tents from Under the Sky Event Rentals - totally transformed into a whimsical and ethereal Moroccan style lounge and dinner experience. The Dart Collective’s Blue Roses band opened the dancing and the DJ duo Bob Moses closed out the evening, I mean morning the next day.
